V.W. Bro. Terry Hudson P.G.J.O.
 
V.W.Bro. Terry Hudson P.G.J.O., passed away on the 28th July 2020 at the age of 82 years. Terry’s health had been deteriorating for some time, more so in the weeks before his death, when shortness of breath meant he had difficulty talking on the telephone, but his passing was nevertheless unexpected.
He was a member of Bispham with Norbreck Mark Lodge for 53 years and was advanced in March 1967 and was Worshipful Master in 1976. He served many offices in the lodge including Secretary & Treasurer.
 
Terry was also a member of Adoniram Mark Lodge No 552 for 37 years, he joined in 1983 and was Worshipful Master in 2010.
He was appointed to Grand Steward in 1990 and promoted to Grand Junior Deacon in 1995 and became a Very Worshipful Brother in 2015 when he was promoted to Past Grand Junior Overseer.
 
He was greatly respected by us all.
 
He was a past Royal Ark Mariner having been a member of Edmund Taylor No 296 and Prince Setanta No 1446 Royal Ark Mariners.
 
In other orders Terry was initiated in Rectitude Lodge of Blackpool No 4122 in 1962 and became a joining member of Quadrant Lodge No 8044 in 1966 shortly after the Lodge was founded, becoming the Worshipful Master in 1974 and 1975.
 
He was appointed PrGStwd in 1977, and 4 years later promoted to PPrJGW.
 
He was promoted to Grand Rank PAGDC in 1987 followed by PJGD in 1995. He became an APrGM in 2007 and then PSGD in 2008.
 
He was a member of St Annes Chapter No 2457 for over 50 years and was First Principal in 1978.
 
Terry was exalted into the Royal Arch in St Annes Chapter in 1966, becoming First Principal in 1978. He was a member for over 50 years. In 1983 he was appointed PrGStwd and promoted to the Supreme Grand Rank of PGStBr in 1991 and then PAGSoj in 1999 rising to Past 2nd Provincial Grand Principal in 2007.
 
He was a Founder of Quadrant Chapter No 8044 where he was First Principal in 2001, he was also a Founder of Aemulantes Lodge and Senatores Chapter of Installed First Principals.
 
Terry was a highly regarded being a Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master of the Province of West Lancashire, Past PASGSoj of Supreme Grand Chapter and Past Second Provincial Grand Principal in the Provincial Grand Chapter of West Lancashire.
 
He was a member of Blackpool Chapter Rose Croix No 136 for 49 years and was Most Wise Sovereign in 1982 he held the rank of Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander a member of the 310 of the Ancient and Accepted Rite for England and Wales and its Districts and Chapters Overseas.
 
Brethren he will be sadly missed by us all.
